DARK LIPS NEUTRALIZATION

$ 500 + include first touch up

Dark Lip Neutralization is a specialized treatment series for those with cool or dark lips in which we neutralize the darkness in the lips to reach a desired color.

So, lip blush is basically done in 2-3 sessions. The first one is the initial tattooing and after the lips are healed, 6-8 weeks after the treatment, a touch up is needed. This is how it is usually done.

But dark lip neutralization, especially ethnic lips, usually requires more sessions to achieve satisfying results.
While lip blush is done by coloring the lips, neutralization is needed for lip blushing on dark lips.

The first step is to neutralize cool tones and lift the darkness of lips with the help of warm-based pigment.
After the lips are neutralized and healed, a target color can be added if you want it.

The procedure lasts 3 hours;
Results last up to 2 years;

Pain level is minimal to moderate (topical anesthetic is used);

If you have existing cosmetic tattooing first you need to contact an artist or make appointment for a consultation.
No fillers in the procedure area less than two weeks prior.
Plan trips or events a minimum of 10 days after the procedure.

Do not take aspirin, prescription blood thinners, or drink excessive alcohol at least 48 hours prior to and after your procedure.

Do not drink coffee in the morning of your appointment.
If you are prone to cold sores, lip tattooing CAN cause outbreaks, which can result in loss of pigment. We ask our clients to consult with their doctor for prescribing of antivirals medication to prevent out break. You can still have lip blushing done!!!

After-care advice

Change your pillowcase when you get home.
Please be advised that any pigment residue could stain your pillowcase for at least 1 week after your appointment.
Day of the procedure: Lips will feel swollen, dark and very dry after your treatment.
Pat lips gently with a wipe or tissue to remove excess lymph every hour or so on the first day.
You may also apply ice packs to help if they are very swollen.
Day 2-3: Apply a moisturizing lip ointment twice a day to moisten and prevent them from forming a crust.
Allow lips to dry for 5 minutes prior to applying your aftercare lip balm.
This should be done for at least 5-6 days post treatment.
Day 4: Apply a moisturizing lip ointment at night to prevent scabs and dryness,
continue to apply it for the entire week until the area is completely healed.
Always use a Q-tip to apply the ointment.
Once the lips are no longer tender, they may become flaky. This is normal.
Do not pick or scratch them.
Doing so can significantly reduce the amount of pigment that stays in the skin.
