At a glance
Everything you need to know before booking, at a glance.
Includes numbing time, shape design and full color application.
Lips peel around day 3–5. Color looks very muted after peeling before deepening at 4–6 weeks.
Lips retain pigment well. Sun exposure and dry skin speed up fading.
Lips are numbed before and during the procedure. Initial application before numbing is brief.
What it is
Lip Blushing deposits a soft, blush-like tint across the entire lip using a PMU machine. It is not lipstick—it reads like a natural flush of color that enhances the lips' own shape, tone and definition.
The technique corrects uneven pigmentation, defines a blurred lip border, adds an impression of volume, and reduces the appearance of dark or dull lip tones. The effect is subtle enough to look natural without makeup and visible enough to feel polished.
Color is customized to complement your skin tone. The healed result is softer and lighter than the fresh result—expect the color to fade 30–50% before settling into its final shade.

Prepare your lips before your appointment
Hydrated, healthy lips hold pigment best. Avoid anything that sensitizes or dries out the lip area.
Bare lips, light meal, and a color reference
Come with completely bare lips—no balm, lip liner or lipstick. Bring photos of shades you love.
Days 3–7 look patchy—this is normal
Lips will peel dramatically around days 3–5. The color underneath will look very light. This is expected. The final color reveals itself at 4–6 weeks.
Three details people skim past
Small choices upstream prevent surprises on procedure day— especially around prior pigment, stimulants, and comfort planning.
- 1Cold sore history is critical to disclose
Lip procedures can trigger cold sore outbreaks in anyone who carries the HSV-1 virus, even if you have not had an outbreak in years. If there is any history, antiviral medication is required before and after your appointment.
- 2Lip fillers and timing
If you have lip fillers, wait until the filler has fully settled (usually 3–4 weeks) before your Lip Blushing appointment. If you plan future fillers, complete your PMU first and wait until it has healed.
- 3The color at day 5 is not the final color
After peeling, lips look pale and patchy. Many clients worry at this stage—do not judge the result until 4–6 weeks have passed. The pigment that appears light immediately after peeling will deepen as the skin completes its healing cycle.
We customize pigment color to your natural lip tone, not over it. The goal is an enhanced version of your lips—not a costume.
