What it is

A live consultation is a dedicated in-person session where we assess your skin type, review your aesthetic goals, and walk through which permanent makeup techniques suit you best. No needles, no commitment—just clarity.

Clients who come in for a consultation first consistently get better results. We can assess your skin's behavior, review existing work, discuss color theory for your complexion, and set honest expectations for healing and longevity.

BEFORE YOUR CONSULTATION

Come as you are — but bring your references

The more context you give us upfront, the more useful the session will be. Arrive bare-faced so we can assess your natural skin tone and texture.

WHAT TO BRING
  • Reference photos of looks you love — and looks you want to avoid.
  • Photos of any existing permanent makeup for color and shape assessment.
  • A list of current skincare products if you use retinoids, acids, or prescription actives.
  • Any questions you've been sitting on — no question is too basic.
ARRIVE WITHOUT
  • Heavy brow makeup or filled-in brows — we need to see your natural hair pattern.
  • Lip liner or lip color — bare lips help us assess your natural tone accurately.
  • Eyeliner or mascara if you're consulting about lash line work.
DAY OF CONSULTATION

Show up ready to have an honest conversation

This session is entirely about you. Ask the hard questions, share the insecurities, and bring your real concerns — that is what this hour is for.

WHAT WE COVER
  • Skin type, tone and texture assessment.
  • Review of your reference photos and aesthetic goals.
  • Technique recommendations with honest pros and cons.
  • Realistic healing and longevity expectations for your specific skin.
AFTER YOUR CONSULTATION

You leave with a clear plan

No aftercare needed — this is a conversation. You will leave with a recommended service, an honest timeline, and any pre-care steps to start immediately.

NEXT STEPS
  • Book your procedure within 90 days to apply the $49 as a credit.
  • Start any recommended pre-care (sun avoidance, stopping retinoids, etc.).
  • Reach out with follow-up questions — we answer via message.
BEFORE YOU BOOK

Three details people skim past

Small choices upstream prevent surprises on procedure day— especially around prior pigment, stimulants, and comfort planning.

Complex casesExisting workSensitive skin
  1. 1
    Strongly recommended for complex cases

If you have dark lips, significant existing PMU, scarring, very oily or sensitive skin, or want scar camouflage — please consult first. These situations require in-person assessment before we can commit to outcomes.

  2. 2
Your $49 does not expire quickly

The consultation fee is credited toward any procedure booked within 90 days. This gives you time to prepare your skin with pre-care before committing to an appointment.

  3. 3
We will tell you if a procedure isn't right for you

Not every skin type or situation is a good candidate for every technique. A consultation is the moment to get an honest answer — before pigment is placed.

STUDIO NOTE

The consultation is the most important appointment you will have with us. It sets expectations, removes surprises, and builds the trust that makes the procedure go smoothly.
